My photography collection began just last year, but it quickly became much more than a hobby. I started taking it seriously after receiving compliment after compliment—people connected with my images in a way I hadn’t expected. For a long time, I was self-conscious about my work, unsure if what I saw through my lens would matter to anyone else. But the feedback made me realize that the stories I tried to tell were actually reaching people.
